On Monday pohutukawa went to Aotea Lagoon when we got there some of us had lunch and some of us went to the playground I had some lunch and milk then I ran straight to the playground at the playground I almost got hit by the swing when I was walking past it.

We had another lunch break I eat all my lunch then and had another milk after lunch break I went on the rolling circle I call it that because I don’t know what it's called I was really dizzy so I decided not to play on it anymore and play with Norry, Kaizen, Lennox from room 9 and lennox from room 11.

Then Pohutukawa gathered up and did the rolls for each class and walk back up to the school most of pohutukawa was really tired.

My early Maori writiting

Early Maori

A couple days ago we had whaea Toni we learnt about early technology of the māori.

We did a activity where we all picked a technology I went with cloths I had to draw a picture of the early māori and draw all the old the things they wore and label the resources they used for their cloths.

Later we did weaving with paper the people better at weaving they could do straight lines or squiggle lines.

We also learnt that chiefs with the most moko people in the war they decapitated the chiefs head and made it their trophy.

When the early māori went toilet they couldn't put it near where they eat food or by their house they had to go outside dig a lot of holes and use them.

Early māori they had to travel through bushes they had no shoes like today they had to make their shoes out of a cabbage tree and travel in their waka to get to other countries te rauparaha and his people went to sydney in his waka.

I found out that a moa is 12 feet tall that is 3.6 in meters the moa weighs about 510 pounds I also learnt that the people of the early were pretty unique and smart.

Our Olympic Artwork

Easy Blog Photo
This is my olympic artwork that my class did last term this included going on the chrome book and picking a silhouette. Our teacher printed them out so we could cut them out and put them on a a3 piece of paper. We also did the background before putting on the silhouette on the a3 piece of paper. The gluing part for me I found really tricky because there was actually not that much glue and black and white lettering news paper that I could use.We did a border made out of black and white lettering news paper and glued it with pva glue.
