The Pools
After the sleepover we did boot camp and we had breakfast then we went to the pools there were two inflatables there were lots of people at the deep end jumping in I was playing ball tag with Vallon, Patrick, Aiden, and Shayden when I was in I try to get Patrick over the wall and the ball hit the wall and hit me in the face.
At the pools we only had two hours for me those two hours were amazing after the two hours we went to school and went home unfortunately I wasn't here the next day.
Sleepover
Wednesday the day we had two trips and a sleepover the first trip was to Te Papa when my group was there we went first to the place where the earthquake house was located we were given a sheet we tried to complete that while we were there.
Then we went to the Māori Exhibition and learnt why te rauparaha was special and relatable to a taniwha because he has six toes we did this with Ms Smith.
After all this we got our bags and went outside to eat lunch with everybody my leader for our group was Jerome Orlonzo’s dad.
Then we went to sound and vision and learnt about early Porirua and Wellington and all the earthquakes. Some people fell asleep during this but the teachers didn’t want them sleeping because we were going to have a sleepover tonight.
We went back to school I went home and got ready for the sleepover then I went to school ready while I’m in the driveway I see a lot of people already during the sleepover we played cricket six to seven o'clock I learnt how to play and we played soccer after soccer we had a fruit break.
Finally we went inside and had some snacks and write about what we did at te papa and sound and vision next we were so excited to play spotlight.
Survival Day
When we did survival day we rotated around classrooms with different teachers I started off with my own teacher we did noughts and crosses it was a hard and tough game to play but luckily my team won the whole game of it.
Next our group went into room 17 in room 17 we learnt how to do medical things like how to make a sling and make someone who cut themselves stop and keep calm and everything.
Next we went to room 8 with Ms Holland we could make a card or make a exercise cube the exercise cube is a cube where you write exercises for a amount of time it was fun rolling the cube and finding what exercises we had to do.
Then we went to Ms Smith's class and learn about earthquakes we made a poster about being prepared when there a earthquake or a tsunami and what we need so we don’t die of starvation.
Finally we finished the classes off with Ms Hills class we did if we were on the moon what we needed to survive on the moon like oxygen and other things.
I enjoyed this survival day my favourite class was
Ms Smith's class because my had so many things on my poster I couldn’t put anymore things on it it was a miracle.
On Monday pohutukawa went to Aotea Lagoon when we got there some of us had lunch and some of us went to the playground I had some lunch and milk then I ran straight to the playground at the playground I almost got hit by the swing when I was walking past it.
We had another lunch break I eat all my lunch then and had another milk after lunch break I went on the rolling circle I call it that because I don’t know what it's called I was really dizzy so I decided not to play on it anymore and play with Norry, Kaizen, Lennox from room 9 and lennox from room 11.
Then Pohutukawa gathered up and did the rolls for each class and walk back up to the school most of pohutukawa was really tired.
